The last month of Winter has arrived ... we are already starting to see signs of Spring with daffodils, new born lambs and warmer days.  This month in the Centre we have some special days planned:

Tuesday 3rd August - Castle and Pagoda Olympics Day finishing with a medal presentation ceremony

Thursday 5th August - Community Dress-Up Day to help raise funds for a van for Resthaven

Thursday 5th August - Pagoda Matariki Night, 5.30 - 7.00pm.  This is our re-scheduled night from July when winter illness affected many of our Centre families.  The Pagoda team are looking forward to hosting this event for their families.

Friday 27th August - Daffodil Day / Yellow Dress-Up Day.  During August we will be building a coin trail 'Yellow Brick Road' and all funds raised will be donated to the Cancer Society.

This current 'polar blast' is certainly providing some very frosty mornings and with it beautiful winter days.  Hats and jackets are now well utilised for outdoor play.  July is an exciting month for our Centre - Wilson the Pagoda bear is celebrating his birthday so we will be helping celebrate with him.

12th - 23rd July - School Holidays (we are open for our usual hours)

Thursday 15th July - Oxford pie orders are due back

19th June - 11th July - Matariki celebrations

Tuesday 20th July - Wilson's Birthday, we are celebrating with a mid-winter Pyjama Day

Thursday 22nd July - Oxford pie orders delivery day

We have reached the first month of Winter and have already had brilliant frosty mornings.  We wish everyone a relaxing long weekend for Queen's Birthday - safe travels if you are on the road.

Monday 7th June - Queen's Birthday, the Centre will be closed

Tuesday 8th June - we will be having a 'Right Royal Dress-up Day'

16th - 19th June - National Fieldays at Mystery Creek

19th June - 11th July - Matariki celebrations

Monday 21st June - Shortest Day
